'Hope' Shares Anti-Bullying Message

'Hope' Shares Anti-Bullying Message

Students were confronted, challenged and enthralled recently when the Take Away Theatre Company visited The Stockwood Park Academy to perform their acclaimed play Hope.

The play, performed to Year 8 and 9 students, follows the story of a successful pop star who returns to her home town and confront painful memories from her past. The play encourages students to be empowered to tackle bullying in a constructive way. Our students found the play powerful and engaging, offering a resounding round of applause at the conclusion of each performance.

Our Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, led by Anti-Bullying Managers Mr Baker and Mrs Floyd, will be building on this message with a range of in-school activities over coming months.
