This year is the first year of new grade 1-9 GCSE qualifications in most subjects (and second year for English and Maths). In this time of change, parents may be wondering what all these new grades mean, and how to support their children in next steps after Year 11.
In anticipation of GCSE Results Day on Thursday, the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust has released a helpful guide for parents. It's a clear and helpful guide to the changes and what they mean for your child.
A reminder that students can collect their results on Thursday 23rd August, from 9.30am to 10.30am. There will be plenty of staff on hand to field queries and support students with 6th Form enrolment.
